Super Learning Powers
St Michael's Academy Super Learning Powers
The pupils and staff together have developed the St Michael's Super Learning Powers. These have evolved out of our Better Learner Skills, and help pupils become better learners through focussing on what it means to be an Independent Enquirer, Reflective Learner, Creative Thinker, Self Manager, Team Worker and Clear Communicator. This means that children are focussing not only on what they are learning, but also how they are learning. Children who have displayed a particular Super Learning Power that week are celebrated and presented with a certificate during Friday assembly and children are encouraged to notice the ways in which they are learning across the curriculum.
