Romans!

This half term in history, we have been learning all about the Romans and what they brought to Britain when they invaded in AD43.  We made swords and shields with Roman designs in DT and tested them out in a battle between Farook and Rauf Class!  Over the past two weeks, we have been writing about life as a Roman soldier in our English lessons.  We have also read the book 'The Thieves of Ostia' in Guided Reading, which is a mystery story set in Ancient Rome.
