Our Week ------ WB 23/09/24

This week we have been learning about...

 

English

In English the children have been looking at the book 'Lights on Cotton Rock'. We have looked at types of sentences and have been creating our own newspaper report based on what has happened in the story.

Maths

In Maths the children are looking at Place Value. This week the children have been practicing estimating numbers to 1000 on a numbers line, counting in 50s, ordering numbers to 1000 and comparing numbers to 1000.

RE

Reading

In Reading the children are looking at the book 'The Nothing to See Here Hotel'. The children have been answering questions based on the text to test their comprehension skills.
